Historic District

Historic District:

From Cottages to Victorian, Colonial Revival or Bungalow Craftsman architecture, the rich heritage of McAdenville has been preserved in the 19th Century homes, buildings and mill houses throughout the community. More than 85 acres have been designated as a nationally registered historic district. Our homes reflect our rich heritage and focus on preserving Southern-style Americana. In addition to homes to own, you can enjoy maintenance-free living in one of our historically registered brick mill houses, bringing a touch of nostalgia to multifamily living.

Love the Historic Charm
“We had always wanted a home in a neighborhood with a historic past. We found and love the historic charm of McAdenville. As we continue to learn more about the history, we are even more enchanted by what this town represents, from its mill town heritage to its Christmas lights.”

Living our Dream
“My wife and I were sitting on our front porch one evening and realized that we are living our dream. If we won the lottery, we wouldn't move or get a new home. We are living in the ideal community and love it here. The homes in McAdenville Village capture the heart of the community as much as the historic homes and buildings do. We cannot imagine living anywhere else better than where we are right now.”
